ANUTRON-1513 POLYACETAL

AN ENGINEERING THERMOPLASTIC FOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING APPLICATIONS

ANUTRON-1513 Polyacetal (POM) is a highly crystalline thermoplastic, with a high mechanical strength and rigidity. ANUTRON-1513 has a low coefficient of friction, excellent wear resistance and low moisture absorption. ANUTRON-1513 has good sliding characteristics making it useful in applications like gear, gear-racks, rollers, bearing blocks, wear plates, bushing, slipper pads, sliding bars, pulleys, etc.

The high dimension stability and easy machinability, compared to metals, it makes it highly versatile engineering plastic. It is a good and cost-effective replacement to ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Being very light weight compared to metals, it makes it easier to handle large components during maintenance.
